Lessons from Women
This collection started long before it was a collection.
I found myself painting women’s bodies through heartbreak, depression, and different versions of myself. There was something about painting what people could perceive, while knowing they could never understand the layers and depth of the human being within it.
Over time, the work became a reclamation. An embrace of freedom. Of letting go, taking up space, and getting naked with life.
Because a body is never just a body.
It carries every version of who we have been, what we have survived, what we have loved, what we have lost, and who we are still becoming.
