Hi, I'm Nadeen.
I'm a full-time artist and 500-hour certified yoga teacher based in San Diego, California. I live in a place I call Butterfly World.
I've been creating for as long as I can remember. Growing up as the daughter of Lebanese immigrants, becoming an artist never felt like a realistic option. Art was where I escaped, experimented, and made sense of an inner world I didn't always understand.
At 19, struggling with my mental health, I found my way to yoga and meditation. Twelve years later, I teach over 300 students a week. Yoga shattered my understanding of what was possible. It taught me what intention, discipline, vulnerability, and showing up can make possible, lessons I carry into everything I create.
I eventually built a career in corporate UX design and research, but I couldn't imagine spending my life behind a screen. I needed to move, make things, and work with my hands. Losing my dog Lukas in 2024 changed the direction of my life. I went to Bali to study yoga, returned home, and began building my art business. Nearly two years later, Rajah, another German Shepherd, who looks just like Lukas, and even has 1 floppy ear like Lukas, fell into my lap. He reminds me that even when life doesn't unfold the way we imagined, there is still so much beauty waiting to be discovered.
I'm endlessly curious about nature, people, history, and how everything connects. When an idea enters my mind, I need to bring it into existence. I learn by creating, experimenting, making mistakes, and seeing what happens.
I have hundreds of unfinished projects, and I'm in no rush. I'll be an artist forever.
I don't make my art. My art makes me.
